During Umrah
Talbiyah: After expressing the intention, recite the Talbiyah: “Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka Laa Shareeka Laka Labbayk, Innal Hamda Wan-Ni’mata Laka Wal-Mulk, Laa Shareeka Lak.”
Tawaf: After arriving at Makkah, go to the Masjid al-Haram and start performing the Tawaf, which is to circle the Kaaba seven times counterclockwise, starting at the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad). It is Sunnah for men to expose their right shoulder during this rite, which is also called Idtiba.
Prayer at Maqam Ibrahim: If at all possible, offer two Rak’ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim (the Station of Abraham) after completing Tawaf. Then, to refresh and renew your soul, sip on the blessed Zamzam water.
Sa’i between Safa and Marwah: Perform Sa’i, which involves walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah. Start at Safa and end at Marwah. Men should jog between the green markers.
Haircut/Shaving: Men should shave their heads or trim their hair, while women should cut a small portion of their hair (about the length of a fingertip)
